Whole-class Ensemble Tuition (CIL/WCET)
Through whole-class teaching you can ensure that every child has an opportunity to learn to sing, play an instrument and create music together in class time. Our WCET programme is designed to spark children’s musical curiosity through playing, singing, listening, creating and performing.

Progression built in: designed to start children on their musical journey, the programme moves to a smaller group delivery in Term 3 to enable engaged children to take the next step towards small group instrumental tuition

Our team of professional specialist teachers are fully DBS checked, undergo annual Safeguarding training, and are supported by regular training and quality assurance.

Lesson length: 45 minutes
Weekly programme
Group Size: 1 class
Minimum Delivery: 1 year = 33 sessions / 1 term = 10 sessions
Suitable for: KS2 / KS3 / Alternative Provision / SEND (KS1 by agreement)
- Whole class ensemble tuition should be a key part of your school's curricular music offer
- A member of your school staff is needed to support the delivery of the programme – with the opportunity to develop their own skills
- The first half term will focus on musicianship skills, including singing, while instruments are introduced
- Each school is entitled to 1 WCET programme at the reduced (ACE grant funded rate) for one year group (mixed year groups for small schools).

- Brass (Cornet/Trumpet, French Horn/Tenor Horn, Baritone, Euphonium, Trombone)
- Strings (Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass)
- Woodwind (Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Saxophone)

- Recorder (Descant, Treble)

- Percussion (Djembe, Samba, Boomwhackers, Glockenspiels, Orff Sets
Including instruments ideal for younger players and SEND pupils (eg. Toots, doods, pbuzz, pbone, and ptrumpet. Please ask us for advice on which instruments will best suit your group.
