Great Gate of Kiev

This is Victor’s grand design for a gate for the city of Kiev

He included a great stone arch, a chapel and a bell tower.

Mussorgsky composed music every bit as impressive as the gate.

He wanted the music to suggest a grand procession.

Can you hear bells ringing and priests singing?
