- Only the musicians & Live Music Now host are visible on screen.
- Say hello and engage with the musicians using the chat function, and ask them questions during the Q&A.
- To get the most out of the experience, we recommend children at home watch the concert with a parent or carer if possible.
- Following the session, we’ll send you ideas for follow-up activities that can be done in school or at home.

Cost: Illustrated cost per session is £80 (includes set up fee and project management).
Music Service may be able to negotiate fee with LMN depending on number of schools and pupils involved.
Delivery Method: 1-2-1 sessions are delivered online via Zoom and last 45 minutes.
Including Me offers the potential to engage with isolated disabled children in mainstream schools, or pupils affected by Emotionally Based School Avoidance.
Including Me pairs a Live Music Now musician with a young person for a series of sessions, during which they explore musical performance, instruments, song-writing and improvisation using ‘shared screen’ accessible apps to encourage engagement and creativity. These sessions support children’s mental health and wellbeing – combating social isolation, boosting mood and resilience.

“Many of our pupils would rarely be able to access live music outside of school due to the
nature of music venues and expectations of behaviour. Being exposed to live music,
particularly genres they would not normally see, is such an important part of their music
education. The chance to engage with live musicians in a musical performance and feel the
physical nature of music is indispensable as an experience”

Live Music Now Musicians are touring Cumbria!
During this mini tour musicians will visit five schools over three days providing concerts for your pupils to enjoy.
LMN musicians are inclusive music leaders, trained to adapt quickly to children’s needs. Liberated from strict roles of performer and audience, concerts become participatory in nature, with children encouraged to join in (though they often need no encouragement!) by singing, conducting, call-and-response and through musical games. Concerts are highly sensory experiences, with musicians engaging with children individually to demonstrate the instruments, their sounds and their vibrations. A diverse range of musical experiences from different traditions including classical, world music, jazz and folk will be experience
